FACILITIES & CLIMATE CONTROL

With a storage location strategically located for quick service and our own fleet of delivery vehicles, Indochina Logistics RIMS is always ready to serve you.

Our Record Center is made of steel and reinforced concrete block construction and  located 3 km from the center of Hanoi, with immediate freeway access, our facility is situated to serve clients around Ha Noi.

Our facility is secured with intrusion alarms and meet the stringent  latest fire codes. We employ multiple Class A fire protection systems, which are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Because this is a tropical area, our Record Center is designed to withstand humidity damage, and  has received the top "Seismic Zone 4" UBC earthquake rating. Our Indochina Logistics RIMS facility has regularly updated, disaster-recovery plans.

Some types of records require special environmental controls — often unique and costly controls -- to ensure the integrity of the data. Indochina Logistics RIMS provides appropriate storage for all types of records at significant cost savings. 

AIR-CONDITIONER STORAGE FACILITY

Temperature and Humidity

Magnetic media stored at Indochina Logistics RIMS facility is maintained in an environment which is temperature and humidity controlled.  Temperature is maintained at a minimum of 65 degrees Fahrenheit (+1-2 degrees). Humidity remains between 40 to 50 percent relative (+1-3%) at all times.  Temperature and humidity is monitored and controlled by an automated system at all times including weekends and holidays.

Environmental Contaminants

Air circulated into the storage facility is filtered to eliminate air born contaminates such as dust, smoke, ash, and all caustic agents harmful to magnetic media.

Electrical Interference

Indochina Logistics RIMS’s (IL-RIMS) storage facility and vehicles guard against destruction of data contained on magnetic media from all forms of electrical interference. 

Fire Detection Systems

IL-RIMS provides smoke and heat detection systems within the storage facility which alert our staff to the presence of smoke, excessive heat, or combustible gasses.  These systems automatically trigger fire suppression systems within our storage facility, if necessary.

Fire Suppression Systems

IL-RIMS provides an approved fire suppression system within the magnetic media storage area. 

Magnetic Media Storage Containers

IL-RIMS provides for the duration of this Agreement, sufficient magnetic media storage containers to protect and store your magnetic media.  Containers are specifically designed for storage and protection of computer magnetic tape and cartridge.  Containers are clearly labeled on the outside with a unique identifier or container ID bar code number. 

Transportation

IL-RIMS provides delivery and pickup services.  Transportation is performed by bonded ILRIMS employees in climate controlled vehicles.

Security Systems

The climate controlled Archive is protected by “vault” doors with “keyless” combination entry locks.  All entries are equipped with intrusion alarms.  Surveillance cameras also record entry into the Archive on a 24-hour, 7-day basis. 

Back Up Generator

In the event of a power failure, the back up generator is automatically activated.
